The Top 10 Public Health Consulting Blog Posts of 2019!

Top10Blog.jpg

Well- we made it! 2019 is coming to a close. It’s been an incredible year of change for me. I shifted my business to focus on supporting current and aspiring public health consultants. My networking group has grown to almost 100 consultants. I launched my first online course and piloted my mastermind group program. I also had my second child in October and am wrapping up maternity leave. Wow!

As I prepare to celebrate the 1st anniversary of my blog, I want to thank everyone who has read along, shared my posts, taken the time to comment, and participated in consulting spotlights and guest posts. I am thrilled that so many of you find value and support in my blog and look forward to lots of fantastic content in 2020!

The blog will start back with biweekly posts in January as I transition from maternity leave and then increase to its regular weekly frequency.

Before I can look forward, I must look back on this incredible year and share the most popular content from 2019. Drumroll, please!

#6 How Do I Know When I’m “Expert Enough” To Be A Public Health Consultant?

One of the common questions I get is around fear of not being “expert enough” to be a public health consultant. It often sounds like: “I don’t have enough experience or education to be a consultant.” “How can my MPH compete with a PhD or DrPH who is up for the same consulting job?” “How do you know when you’re ready…when you are finally an “expert”? In this post I give you six aspects to consider when assessing your “expert” status.
