Your privacy is important to us.  Please read this privacy policy carefully as it contains important information on who we are, how and why we collect, store, use, and share personal information, your rights in relation to your personal information and on how to contact us and supervisory authorities in the event you have a complaint. 

Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to Roman Public Health Consulting, LLC, www.romanphconsulting.com and governs data collection and usage.

Roman Public Health Consulting, LLC (hereinafter the “Company”) collects, uses and is responsible for certain personal information about you.  For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to the Company include www.romanphconsulting.com. This policy applies to information we collect on the website, in email, text or other electronic messages. By using the Company’s website, you consent to the terms and conditions and data practices described in this statement. 

2. Intellectual Property

The Company’s website is for informational purposes only and shall not be used for any other purposes.  All the content on the Company’s website, including its pictures, photos, audio and video content and downloadable materials (“Content”) are the sole property of the Company and it holds all associated intellectual property rights to the Content, whether registered or unregistered.  The Company grants you a limited, cancellable license to use the Content being made available to you.  You are prohibited from using the Content for any non-personal or commercial purposes.  You are prohibited from modifying or making derivative works of the website or the Content or reproducing, distributing or displaying the Content.  You are further prohibited from removing any intellectual property rights or proprietary notices that have been placed on the Content.

3. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act 

This website and any products and services offered herein are not intended for persons under the age of 18. The Company does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age. The Company prohibits children under the age of 18 from using all interactive portions of this website, including leaving any comments, filling out forms, or otherwise submitting information. The Company will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. (a) Information Collected by Us 

The Company may collect personally identifiable information, such as your name, your phone number, your mailing address and/or your email address. If you purchase the Company’s products and services, we collect billing and credit card information, either through the Company’s website or a third-party billing company. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction. We may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future. 

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by the Company. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Company website. 

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through the Company’s public message boards (i.e., commenting on a blog post), this information may be collected and used by others. 

The Company encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from the Company so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. The Company is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the Company website. The Company may collect, use, and is responsible for certain personal information that you provide when you voluntarily sign up for emails or free offers, register for classes or trainings, leave comments, purchase our software and/or the digital programs created by the Company or our clients, fill out any type of form, access private membership or course pages, or otherwise contact the Company via an online form, chatbot, or email. The information collected may include your name, email, password, address, phone number, and/or billing information. You are not required to provide any personally identifiable information to merely access or visit this website.   

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we are regulated under the General Data Protection Regulation which applies across the European Union (including in the United Kingdom) and we are responsible as controller of that personal information for the purposes of those laws.

The Company may collect domain information and “cookies” (small files saved on your hard drive by your web browser) to analyze website performance, track user patterns, save information from your previous visits, provide targeted advertisements, and customize your experience. The Company collects and uses your personal information to operate its website(s) and deliver the services you have requested, including, but not limited to: sending emails, fulfilling orders, delivering services and products, completing customer transactions, and improving website performance and customer service.  The Company may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from the Company, and its affiliates. The Company may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered. 

The Company does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists to third parties. 

The Company may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to the Company, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information. 

The Company may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within the Company, in order to determine what Company services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within the Company to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.

(d) Who We Share Your Personal Information With 

The Company respects your privacy and will never sell, trade or transfer your personally identifiable information to third parties (beyond what is necessary for fulfilling a customer transaction or for the basic functionality of an online service) without your consent. 

We may, however, share your name and email address with our affiliates with whom you’ve made a purchase or registered for a program, product, or service. The only reason that we share this information is so those affiliates are able to provide the service or product you’ve requested. 

(e) Whether Information Has to Be Provided by You and Why 

The provision of your name and email address is required from you to enable us to create a user account for you on our platform. We do not require you to provide any personal data in order to browse the Company website. 

(f) How Long Your Personal Information Will Be Kept 

We will hold your data for as long as you remain registered on our platform as a user or affirmatively opt-in to receiving newsletters and/or marketing materials.

7. Security of your Personal Information 

We have appropriate security measures in place to prevent personal information from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way. We limit access to your personal information to those who have a genuine business need to know it. Those processing your information will do so only in an authorized manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality. 

When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. 

We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable authorities of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so. 

Despite these appropriate security measures, we cannot guarantee that your data is 100% secure from a security breach and the Company, nor its officers, employees, representatives or agents, shall not be held liable for any data security breach and/or associated loss or damage.  This limitation on liability also extends to any affiliated website or company that suffers a data security breach.

Email is not a secure form of communication. For this reason, please do not send private or confidential information to us via email. If you do so, it is at your own risk. Credit Card information and other sensitive information is never transmitted via email. In addition, you are responsible for the confidentiality of your information and password on any of our sites. You are responsible for all uses of your registration, whether or not authorized by you. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your registration or password. 

Please note that any comments or information that you publish on our website or linked social media accounts, become public and third parties may use your information. The Company is not responsible for any unauthorized uses by third parties in such context. You disclose such information at your own risk.

This policy is effective as of December 10, 2018. We may change, modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time and will notify you of any such changes by email and/or in-app announcement. The Company encourages you to periodically review this Statement to keep informed of how The Company is protecting your information.
